Kelly has been dancing since age 10. She received initial training at Carol Lloyd School of Dance in Mobile ,AL. After dancing throughout high school in LaPorte, TX, with the LaPorte High School Chatos, she received a dance scholarship and was part of Sam Houston State University's award winning Orange Pride Dance Team from 1999-2003. All of their nationals performances were televised on ESPN. After college, she started the Sonic Boom Dance Team/Pom Squad for the Houston Aeros (former) Hockey team. She was also a part of Dance Force Productions performance company in Houston, TX from 2004-2006. Kelly has danced in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City, and has worked in the entertainment department for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.
Kelly currently judges for Crowd Pleasers, and is the Founder of Shine Dance Collaborative. Additionally, she enjoys being a Dance Mom to her daughter, 8 year old Grace.

Kelly's daughter, Grace Gerszewski, is a competitive dancer who trained at The Dance Vault, a studio located near The Woodlands, TX from 2020-2023. She was a part of the Encrypted 1 team. Grace is a photogenic winner, Dupree and Platinum scholarship winner, 8 National regional improv winner,. Grace's contemporary/open dance solo received 4th overall (mini) at Dupree Dance Nationals in June of 2023...
